4/20 Event at Hempfield Apothetique

A community celebration of the cannabis plant’s many uses and benefits. 

Hempfield Apothetique, a hub for cannabis education and holistic health learning, invites adults 18 and older to its 4/20 Celebration Event on Thursday, April 20, 2023. 

4/20, also known as “Weed Day,” occurs annually on April 20. Across the United States on that day, people honor the many uses and benefits of the cannabis plant. 

Hempfield Apothetique’s 4/20 event details:

• Cannabis 101 education sessions (1 p.m. and 3 p.m.), Rosin Press demonstrations (1:15 and 3:15 p.m.), Cooking with Cannabis demonstrations (1:30 and 3:30 p.m.) 
• 4 – 5:30 p.m. – The main event begins with a Terpene Beer Launch in partnership with Our Town Brewery. “Nuance,” a terpene-infused (limonene) pale ale, has a peachy profile with notes of citrus. They will tap the keg at precisely 4:20 p.m. (Must be 21 or older) 
• 4 to 8 p.m. – Relax with a FREE CBD chair massage with massage therapist Julie Martin from Back to Wellness. 
• 5:30 – 6:45 p.m. – Ready to express your creativity? Register for the 4/20 Puff Puff Paint Class guided by art therapist Heather Hostetter. 
• 6:45 – 7:45 p.m. – Get grounded with a cannabis-friendly 4/20 Restorative Yoga session with Beth Weaver. (Registration required.)
• 8 – 10 p.m. – 4/20 Stoner Movie Night, featuring a free showing of the film Fantastic Fungi. BYOB, BYOC, and bring a favorite potluck dish to share! (Registration required.)

Plus, get 20% off all in-store purchases on 4/20. Buy any hemp edible from the shop that day, and if you find a lucky green ticket in the wrapper, you’ll receive a prize.

Also, Vytal Options, a local medical marijuana dispensary, will offer education and prize giveaways from 3 to 7 p.m.
