Special Film Screening & Discussion: “The Last Ecstatic Days”
September 7 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
$10.00Join us for an unforgettable evening as we present a special screening of the poignant and thought-provoking film, The Last Ecstatic Days.
About the Film:
Ethan Sisser, a young man facing terminal brain cancer, sits alone in his hospital room. As he begins livestreaming his death journey on social media, thousands of people around the globe join him, inspired by his courage. But Ethan envisions something more profound—teaching the world how to die without fear. To do so, he decides to film his final moments.
With the support of his compassionate doctor, Aditi Sethi, Ethan is transported to a peaceful house in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. What follows is a deeply moving narrative seldom seen: a community of strangers coming together to help a young man die with grace.
The Last Ecstatic Days offers a sensory immersion into the experience of leaving the body and showcases a man who refuses to be forgotten, even after taking his final breath.
