Rhythm for Our Soul – Drumming Workshop Single Class
May 28 @ 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm
$20.00Rhythm for Our Soul – Drumming Workshop Single Class
It began with the Mother’s heartbeat, and we are all still connected. Let’s drum together!
If you can’t make it to the full drumming workshop series, no worries! You can still join us for individual sessions! Each student will get to learn about the history of djembe drums, dive into traditional rhythms, and much more! Tammi will guide us through some of the ancient traditional beats and inspire you to unleash the rhythms in your own soul. Did you know drums have distinct notes? Discover the three traditional notes, explore the instrument’s rich history and culture, and create your own unique rhythms. Along with this, you’ll learn traditional and non-traditional songs, explore different movements, and most importantly, have fun! If you need a djembe drum, just let us know ahead of time.
DATES: Tuesday, May 28, 2024
