CLASS DESCRIPTION: Imagine crafting your very own smoking accessory—how cool would that be?! Well, guess what? You totally can! Join us for a POT-tery Paint Night hosted by The Glazing Sun. Take your pick from a variety of bowls or water pipes to paint, and let your creativity run wild with our wide selection of colors. Alana will be your guide, filling you in on all the pottery-painting tips and tricks you need to know. With plenty of inspiration on hand, you’ll create a stunning piece to enhance your smoking experience. After painting, your pottery will need to be fired in the kiln, but don’t worry—you can swing by Hempfield Apothetique about a week later to pick up your masterpiece!
INSTRUCTOR BIO: Alana, owner of The Glazing Sun has been into ceramics for 6 years now! A nursing student turned into artist & business owner. She started out by painting ceramics with bright colors / glazes and selling them at art shows! Now, she has a shop in Marietta that you can shop other small businesses and a pottery painting studio for you to create your OWN works of art. Alana loves spreading colorfulness and good vibes into the world with her colorful shop and getting others to express their creativity.
WHAT TO WEAR/BRING: The paint / glazes are all water soluble so anything you get on you will wash right out!
