Saint Valentine’s Cacao Circle
February 13, 2025 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
$40.00On February 13, join us for a heart-opening Saint Valentine’s Eve Cacao Ceremony—a perfect way to celebrate the energy of love in all its forms. Theobroma cacao, or the “Food of the Gods,” has long been cherished for its heart-protective benefits, rich antioxidants, and abundance of vitamins and minerals. It offers a unique, uplifting energy that encourages emotional expansion and connection with our physical, mental, and spiritual selves. Our cacao for this evening’s ceremony comes from heirloom trees over 5000 years old, nurtured by Ecuadorian farmers who harvest with reverence and care.
Guided by Joshua, we’ll begin with grounding and intention-setting to invite ourselves into a space of openness and presence. As we settle, he will introduce cacao in a sacred way—with songs, prayers, and a beautiful discussion on both the scientific and energetic benefits of this sacred plant. Together, we’ll take our first sip, opening ourselves to heartfelt storytelling, vulnerability, and connection.
We’ll share stories, reflections, and meaningful insights, embracing compassion and listening deeply to each other. To complete our experience, Joshua will lead us in a meditative soundscape to hold and integrate these moments of connection and insight. We’ll close by sharing our experiences in a unified, love-centered circle.
Let this evening be a Valentine’s gift to yourself and to those around you, as we come together to celebrate love, unity, and the magic of cacao.

Facilitator Bio: Joshua is a devoted student to the path of the awakening heart. Over the past 6 years, his personal heart opening experiences with cacao have led him to dive deeply into its medicinal purposes, ritual, and rich history. He has been fortunate to work with the Cacao Laboratory team in NYC and study under the guidance of Mayan and Sapara lineages. This path continues to inspire him to share the medicine of cacao with enthusiasm and respect.
Along with cacao, he has dedicated the past 5 years studying the effects sound has on the brain and body facilitating deep sound meditations with gong, singing bowls, bells, flute, and other overtone emitting instruments. He is also a 200hr registered yoga teacher and lover of all things that bring us together to experience the power of community. His approach is grounded in creating inclusive spaces where individuals can connect deeply and authentically on their journey of self-discovery.
What to wear/bring/tips: It is recommended that you drink cacao on an empty stomach so that you can more quickly digest your cacao. Wear what is most comfortable to you. Be authentic in your expression. Please bring with you a water bottle, journal, pencil/pen, eye mask (if available), an open heart, and anything that helps you feel at home.
